Implementation

The pre-visit task encourages students to arrange sequencing cards into an order of ?growing up?. Cards are then placed onto a piece of plain paper in a circle shape and arrows are drawn in between each card to form a life cycle. The on-site task focuses on the observation of different animals and to identify different stages of the life cycles. The task involves students observing an animal and identifying its stage of life cycle shown on the worksheet. Students will observe different animals and completing the life cycle worksheets for a range of different animals. The pre-visit aspects of this task enables students to work together in small groups or individually to produce life cycles. The on-site resource is designed to be completed individually during the trip to Tapnell Farm Park.
