Newtown is a large estuary with extensive mudflats and a salt marsh.
An area with a busy medieval past and now bursting with wildlife and study opportunities through its history, ancient woodlands, meadows, mudflats and salt marshes. It is a home to rare butterflies, red squirrels, wetland wildlife and abundant bird life.
Newtown Nature Reserve is great for all ages, but perhaps a little overwhelming for the very youngest visitors
