Is there somewhere to eat lunch?

The park has many picnic tables available for use. There are also cafes, snack bars, ice-cream huts and a restaurant within the park if you'd like to plan a treat or a hot lunch for example. We can help with that.

Are there any toilets on-site or nearby?

What about toilets?

There are several toilet facilities spread throughout the park, so you're never more than a few minutes away from a loo! On arrival you'll be given a park map and all of the facilities will be clearly highlighted for you, including disabled options. There's a toilet block right by the entrance.

Is there space to sit and eat a packed lunch picnic?

Plenty of picnic spaces and tables throughout the park

Are there any considerations regarding infection control?

Hand sanitiser stations throughout. Majority of facility is outdoors. Indoor areas may be subject to limits on capacity.

Are all attractions free once we are inside?

Not quite. Whilst the majority of attractions are included in the entry fee, there are some premium activities that cost a little extra, such as the hillside high-speed toboggan ride and The Adrenaline Zone. We can arrange for these to be included in your entry fee if we know your requirements in advance.

Are there any first aid facilities?

There is a dedicated first aid room adjacent to the main entrance. All staff are in radio contact throughout the park.

What about bad weather?

Robin Hill is mostly an outdoors attraction with few aspects under cover, so you will need to check the forecast and go prepared. This IS the Isle of Wight though so is one of the sunniest and driest places in the UK!

Are there any special or unusual requirements I need to know about before visiting?

Robin Hill is mostly outdoors, so clothing suitable for the forecast weather conditions is essential. Also consider sun protection and hydration.

What's the arrivals process?

All you need to do is show up at the agreed time and line the kids up outside near the main entrance (but not blocking it). An adult should then check in the group (remind them you are with Education Destination if they try to charge you on arrival!) and make any special requirements known before the group are called in. Make a note of any special on-the-day timings for events in the park.

Is there anywhere on-site selling snacks or ice cream?

Yes, there are several cafes and kiosks throughout the park keeping you fuelled for your fun day out.

How accessible is the park?

There are many areas of the park that are on (sometimes quite steep) gradients, and lots of the attractions are intended primarily for the able-bodied (climbing frames etc.), however there are plenty of parts of the park that ARE accessible and there is a free tractor/trailer ride that runs back and forth from the main entrance which can certainly help cut down the walking. If this is a concern please talk to us and we can suggest alternatives.

Are there any special requests or processes for group leaders on arrival?

On arrival please assemble the group near to the main entrance, but not blocking it.

An adult should then check in the group (remind them you are with Education Destination otherwise they may try to charge for entry. Any special requirements can then be dealt with before the group is called forward for entry.

Make a note of any special timings for events in the park during the day.

How does payment work?

We will pre-book your visit for you and your entry charges will be paid directly by Education Destination, including any Premium upgrades that you have requested ahead of time.

How much time should we budget for?

To make the most of Robin Hill we'd suggest earmarking a full day, however it's a popular choice for the afternoon of arrival to blow off steam after the coach/ferry journer, or for the last morning before departure as it's on the way to the ferry port from most of the seaside towns.
